Welcome to The Endless Rot, a Project Zomboid server born out of frustration with the limitations of other servers and a desire to create something better. After spending many hours in single-player and scouring countless servers, I found that most fell short of delivering the experience I wanted. Many were bogged down by excessive mods that caused performance issues and glitches or weighed down with rules that stifled organic gameplay and defied common sense.

That’s why I started The Endless Rot, to provide players with a reliable, long-term server where survival feels authentic, and gameplay flows naturally. This server runs with only essential mods that have been rigorously performance-tested to ensure a smooth experience for all players. No ridiculous rules, just unfiltered survival where every decision matters.

Looking Ahead to Build 42

At The Endless Rot, I’m committed to providing a consistent, long-term survival experience for all players. The current server will remain wipe-free, ensuring that all your progress and stories remain intact until the multiplayer version of Build 42 is officially released.

When Build 42 arrives, I’ll expand the offerings to meet the needs of the growing community. A brand-new, vanilla Build 42 server will be launched to give players an opportunity to explore the latest update in its purest form. Once mod developers update their work to align with Build 42, I’ll introduce a modded server with carefully selected and performance-tested mods to complement the update’s features.
